The published June–August schedule stays open until 23:00, giving visitors much more evening flexibility.
AUTUMN

September and October keep 21:00 closing hours under the standard Louvre seasonal schedule.
WINTER
Quieter walks
Shorter days and earlier closing, but often a calmer feel around the garden.
TIME OF DAY
Morning for calm, evening for atmosphere.
Early visits can feel less hurried, while late afternoon and evening are attractive for softer light and a natural transition into dinner or a Seine walk. In summer, later closing gives you much more choice.
